Ridiculous online outrage erupts over a children’s classic on Thanksgiving.
Don’t create controversy, simply for the sake of unrest.
That’s a bit of friendly advice that you would hope that most mature, thinking individuals could stick to.
That, unfortunately, is just not our nation, these days. Social justice warriors and the perpetually aggrieved will find the smallest, most innocuous things to screech over. It’s like their food, water, and oxygen. They can’t survive without it. When you start messing around with the beloved “Peanuts” comics and holiday specials, however, it’s time to push back.
ABC had their annual airing of “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” on Thursday, as has been the tradition for as long as I can remember – with no trouble, I might add.
