LIBERTÉ, ÉGALITÉ, CÉLÉBRITÉ

“Like, uh, I DO want the experience of, like, game days…partying…”This has to be a great time for the schadenfreude types on the conservative side. The world got to see the human side-albeit the weak link side-of a couple of progressives and their kids, splashed unawares, complete with indictments all over the airwaves. There were Felicity Huffman (late of Hillary stickers slept all over her face standing with her husband… same stickers, William H. Macy) and Lori Laughlin proud mother of “uh, I want to go, and uh party, like you know, what you’re supposed to do in college….”
They were trying to stack the deck in their daughter’s favor to get into a prestigious college that Maybe just Maybe (uh, I don’t want to go to class!) The young woman MIGHT not have gotten to on her own merit. But that’s okay, this group of which there were several, were ready to plunk down 12.5 very large millions to get their “kid a seat at the table. Now, not the test taking table. Oh no, their cut-out hired people to take the entrance exams for them, because MAYBE just MAYBE, the proxy would score higher. And there were a few photographs of models rowing for the crew team, and running track, WHATEVERRRRR (to quote those cute darn kids of theirs!) To look a little better at it, a little more transcript complete then their girls, and a little more SAT desirable to all but guarantee, wink nod, and we’ve set up a charity foundation for you just in case you all are on the fence about admitting them… Their new home is a dorm at Yale, USC, Wake Forest, WHATEVERRRRR.
Now I get that parents want their kids to succeed. What good parent wouldn’t? And when you have a role model like Hillary, what’s a little deception? After all, Hill and Bill went to Yale! So we twist a few pertinent facts, like photographs and transcripts and test scores and ACT AS IF it’s all okay. Because where the deplorables, and they, after all our smarter, more capable, more deserving, smell less (according to one former FBI agent) and have more promise. No matter that they are bumping someone else off the roster who really is smarter, more capable, more deserving and having more promise, who has worked harder, who has studied harder, played sports harder and made it their life’s mission to get into said school. But hey, what’s a little truth? Sorry, we are the elite! We should have that seat for our kids! They will carry the agenda forward, knocking down monuments, rewriting history, circumventing the Constitution, making up dossiers, and being as self-righteous as Pontius Pilate going to a Sunday meetin’, all at the ready.
The guiding light is the principles of the progressive movement including Alinsky’s that encourages subterfuge and dishonesty and after all, the ends justify the means. Right?
But the really big lie from this crew is that they all want “social justice.” Income redistribution (does $12.5M?) A level playing field for the disadvantaged (and the more I read about their kids it sounds like they are mentally challenged)-except when their kid needs a slot-freedom from oppression of the white male …fortunately we’re talking Hollywood daughters, huh?And while there is screaming over the injustices regarding Jussie Smolletts, I’m not hearing the outrage of the predominantly black murder victims that reached 137 according to today’s Chicago Tribune in the Democrat-controlled, progressive run disaster of Chicago. Or Baltimore, 309 in 2018, 46 in San Fran in 2018, 160 and the District of Columbia, 279 in Houston 351 in Philadelphia all according to CBS. All Democrat-controlled, gun controlled, out of control cities. By the way, the US murder rate dropped in 2018. Can anyone say booming Trump economy? That’s for another day. It rose 23% between 2014 and 2016. Can you say Obama’s lack of hope and change?
And what’s all that gun talk REALLY about? US murder rate outside of those Democrat cities is on track for a big drop.

Olivia said “I don’t know how much school I’m gonna attend. But I’m gonna go in and talk to my Deans and everyone, and hope that I can try and balance it all. But I do want the experience of like, game days, partying. Don’t really care about school, as you guys all know.”You can’t make this up.
As of May 2018, she “literally never” attended class.
Yale, Stanford, Georgetown, USC, UCLA, UC San Diego, University of Texas, Wake Forest… It breaks your heart that these places could be for sale.
Olivia Jade and her sister Isabella have no plans to return to USC. “She can’t handle anything right now. She seems more and more upset every day. She just wants to stay home.” PLEASE DO. But she was on the USC official’s (the board chair) yacht for spring break… Not rowing for the crew team. But Olivia said not to worry she’s “just going to be successful at YouTube and not have to worry about school.” Ahhhh, but those sponsors, pesky little things that they are like Sephora, Hallmark, HP, Tresemme, Dolce and Gabbana, Marc Jacobs beauty, and Estée Lauder the parent company of Smashbox and Too Faced, have had other thoughts. Even the fans are angry. One of the replies to a video was, “please do a video for how you prepared for the SATs.” Maybe that in bribing coaches. I bet she’s sorry that she said, “It’s so hard to try and school when you don’t care about anything you’re learning.” I wonder if she’s learned now.
Malcolm Abbott, a “wrapper” “Billa” defended his parents paying $125,000 to inflate his sister’s SAT and ACT scores while he was smoking pot outside their Fifth Avenue apartment while promoting his CD, “Cheese and Crackers.” He stated, “They’re blowing this whole thing out of proportion. I believe everyone has a right to go to college, man.” He told this to the New York Post who referred to him as a wealthy failson. That was a new one on me.The girls have dropped out of USC, Netflix has dropped Lori from “Fuller House.” Felicity’s been indicted as has Lori. And who knows what will come next.
Remember what Alinsky said:”Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” Ouch.
